Yesterday, my computer malfunctioned all day. It turned out to be as easy repairing by shutting completely down and re booting. Duh!!! But I did get a lot of rest and studying done. I think it may have been a gift from God. I don't think I knew how tired I was from the week end.
The thought for the day is "They will know we are Christians by our love."
I leave you with 1 Cor. 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Deb's dark blue sock
I don't know why but I sure couldn't get anything to blog yesterday.
I sure had prior knowledge of that storm that came thru. I ached so bad that I spent the day in a medication haze. Didn't get a lot done, but I also didn't care. Since I will have the grandkids all weekend, I hope to feel better today.
Bree and Brad are going to Pigeon Forge for a get away. Maybe I will get a good picture to post.

Happy Belated Valentines Day
Here's what my hunny got me for V-day. And they smell good too! (Don't you hate it when they don't?) Finally got my infusion yesterday. I was beginning to feel the need. It only took 3 sticks to get a line in. Whoo!Who!
O love the Lord, all ye saints. (Psalm 31:23)
Blest be Thy love, dear Lord, that taught us this sweet way,
Only to love Thee for Thyself, and for that love obey.
—J. Austin
Secular songs of romantic expressions abound on this day. For the Christian, a hymn about love is also appropriate for Valentine’s Day, and no sweeter expression of one’s love for Christ can be found than these anonymous lines from an early American folk hymn.
For the early Christians, February 14 was a special day. Tradition tells us that a man by the name of Valentine was a Christian doctor who went about doing good deeds wherever he could, in imitation of his Master. Valentine became a good friend and helper to the Christians, who were being persecuted by the cruel powers of the Roman Empire. It is believed that the good doctor was eventually imprisoned because of his loyalty to his fellow “followers of the Way.” After he was beheaded on February 14, that day was observed each year in Valentine’s honor by the early Christians.
As time went on, however, Valentine and his deeds of kindness were forgotten. Because February was near the beginning of spring, with its feelings of romance, the day became a secular holiday celebrating romantic love. Tokens of love and affection were given to sweethearts and friends, starting the custom that we still practice today.

Here's Peach
here is the bag that I finished while at the library yesterday. I know that I don't blog on Sunday, usually, but I wanted to get this one on here. I actually beaded this one myself. woo! On the other two bags, I used this tape (ribbon) that already had the beads on it.
We attended church at Eastview Christian last Sunday and today too. But today, we went to the 8:30 service and then to the 10 Sunday school. Really enjoyed it.
We saw Dedra and the kids and her mom Brenda there too. Tom was preaching elsewhere and Dedra didn't want to take the kids too far yet. It was great to see Dedra, and she looked so relaxed. Yea!!
I leave you with Ps. 33:20 We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and shield.
