Bree kept telling me the house got struck, but she was laughing when she said it so I didn't believe it. But............a picture is worth a thousand words. and in this case, probably over a thousand bucks. we also lost the modem to the house computer, the overhead door lifter, the oven electronics and the dishwasher electronics.

bummer! but God is good, and no one was injured and a neighbor put the fire out.

we went up to Michigan for Alex's grandparents day at his school. the first pic is of Alex and Shelby, then of Alex singing the first grader's part of the program, and the third pic is of Aaron and Janet.Oh yes, how could I have forgotten to mention that Jazz went on vacation with us??

I have always kind of marveled at how musical my grandkids are. Over the weekend, one of Larry's cousins passed away. it turns out Mildred, who never married and lived in Washington D.C. was a music copyright examiner at the Library of Congress, and had been active in music groups and did volunteer work at the Smithsonian. Who Knew? Well, I knew their aunt Sheryl played the sax and Grandpa Herman played the clarinet. Now I know the rest of the story.

Talented Grandkids

This is Madison singing for ISMA. She had already won a gold for her performance with an ensemble group. She won a silver with this solo performance. Morgan is playing for her. They both did a wonderful job.

okay, after watching the video, i must appologize for the sound. everytime i moved or anything else moved, the camera had to refocus. which was horrible for the sound track. soooorrrrrrryyyyyyy :)

well, finished the sweater last nite. haven't taken any photos yet. spent the morning with mojo. we made pretzels and he got to put the coarse salt on. he also ate the one with the most salt. tooooo cute. forgot to take picts of them too. allll gone........

almost done with the green and white sweater. will put up a pic when its all sewn together. i think i may get to sit out on the deck today. its supposed to be in the low 50's. woohoo! I need to get some bible study done and go to a dental appointment and today is monroe's grandparents day. so the afternoon is filled. There is a new bible study starting on tuesday nights and i have been thinking of going to it. soooo this could end up a long day for me. i may not get that sweater finished today after all.
