I guess winter has come to indy after all. this is a pic of our neighborhood. not very clear cause i took it through the door and screen.

 

and here is our new deck. built by our friend, alan f. i actually got to spend one delicious afternoon on it a week ago. it's 20 x 20 so it's very roomy.can't wait for spring.

Our Thursday morning bible study has started a new study. its David Jeremiah's "What in the world is going on?" In view of our political crisis at home and abroad, I urge you to get into a study and learn what has been foretold (prophesied, if you aren't afraid to use the word)from long ago. We are seeing history unfold, like no other generation. Get in The Word. It's an exciting time to be alive. and I pray, Maranatha!

 

 

 

 

hey brenda here are the other four grandkids.

sure enough....

yes he was up and talking to me at 4:15 this a.m. but because i bought crispy creams yesterday, he let me stay in bed until 6. i finally couldn't take it anymore. he's just so stinkin cute you just have to laugh. he also ate 4 scrambled eggs. he doesnt want to go home.

 

I sent my sweetie off to North Carolina this morning. I will be missing him for a week while he is away working. i am also keeping Mojo tonite so maybe his mama will be able to sleep in......i may regret this, he is a very early (4 a.m.) riser. yikes!

 

here are some of my bible study buddies.

We gathered at Donna's house for a delayed Christmas party. We sang Christmas carol's, some bible study, and we ate lunch and had a great time. Thank you Donna! Don't pay any attention to the date on the photos.

 

Here is the 3rd sweater I made. I got a new magazine the other day. Maybe I will be able to break away from this style of sweater. (It was all Mary's fault. She is the one who pointed it out and said she was going to make one). Anyhooo.... I will try to find something, anything else to knit.

I will try to be more faithful to blogging. Maybe doing it first thing after bible reading and prayer. Well.....sounds like a plan anyway.

This year should be a very interesting one for Christians. With all the unrest going on in Israel. For all the believers it is a very exciting time.

happy new year

I can't believe how quickly 2008 flew by. I will be glad to get back into a regular routine. It seems like I have been away from my usual schedule for far too long. But soon the new bible studies begin and I will also get back to the old ones. That's what I really am looking forward to. To all my friends I wish a happy and productive new year and salvation for everyone I know.
