just finished reading saving cee cee honeycutt. i really is a laugh out loud book.
a few bad words are thrown in but i try to overlook them.

i had such high hopes for this. didn't quite turn out as i wanted. but worth trying again............some day

I have been having so much fun trying to make good tasting and pretty bread. I don't know why it has to be pretty, but other peoples breads are pretty and I want mine to be pretty too................lol

tomorrow is our 43rd wedding anniversary. he should be home from chicago tomorrow too!

i have discovered j.vernon mcgee online. i listen to him everyday.

even tho he died in '88, he is as relative to today (maybe even more so) as he was when he first started thru the bible, on the bible bus.

got some new socks knit. these are knit from the toe up. woo hoo!!!

here is the sweater I made for little Shelby. She is so tiny I had to do a lot of adapting. I sure hope it fits. if not, they can always give it away.

Yeah, I know I'm slow. Now that winter is almost (hopefully) over, I knit a wimple. I have had the yarn for a long time but couldn't decide what to do with it. Then I ran across the feather and fan wimple pattern on the net. Perfect!!

Lightning strike

 

Bree kept telling me the house got struck, but she was laughing when she said it so I didn't believe it. But............a picture is worth a thousand words. and in this case, probably over a thousand bucks. we also lost the modem to the house computer, the overhead door lifter, the oven electronics and the dishwasher electronics.

bummer! but God is good, and no one was injured and a neighbor put the fire out.
